  • 250 ml filtered water

  • 30 gram of Nouk cacao (for 2 persons)

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 2 star anise stars

  • 2 dried chamomile flowers

  • 2 whole cloves

  • 3 cardamom seeds

  • 1 slice of fresh ginger (approximately 0.5 cm)

  • Honey or maple syrup to taste



  • Bring the water to a boil in a pot.

  • Add the cinnamon sticks, star anise stars, dried chamomile flowers, whole cloves, and cardamom seeds to the boiling water.

  • Grate the fresh ginger and add it to the mixture.

  • Let the mixture simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

  • Remove the pot from the heat and strain the herbs from the infusion.

  • Warm the tea to a medium heat 70-80 C 

  • Add the Nouk cacao and whisk it gently. 

  • Add honey or maple syrup to taste as a sweetener.

  • Pour the herbal infusion into cups and savor this warming cacao
